National holidays
The museum is closed from December 23rd till January 1st.
The museum is open on all national and religious holidays, should these fall on days on which the museum would ordinarily be open.

Guided tours
There are guided tours in Danish at 1 pm and 2 pm Wednesday through Friday and at 12.30 pm, 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm on Sundays.
English guide sheets are available on request, and our guides are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Tours in English
In July and August we offer a guided tour in English at 1 pm Wednesday through Friday and at 1.30 pm on Sundays.

Private guided tours can be booked using our online booking system.

Handicap access

The exhibitions are on display in unique historical buildings with many staircases. Unfortunately there are no lifts or elevators as yet.

Visiting rules

Photography is permitted.
No food or drinks allowed in the exhibition rooms.
Bags – regardless of size – must be left in the lockers provided.
