I have a MSc in biology with a minor in art history. This reflects my general interest in how collaboration between art and science can create new ways of understanding, communicating and exhibiting scientific research. My current research explores strategies of  exhibiting complex an contingent science in museums. I have been working as a co-curator and research assistant on the research and exhibition project Mind the Gut and i am currently researching the implications of the experimental transdisciplinary approach applied in the development of Mind the Gut. I am broadly interested in how the domains of biological and medical research interact with the cultural domain. Within recent years my main focus has been on bacteriology and microbiome research and i am fascinated with how these fields have pushed our understanding of everything from evolution and development to health and individuality. I am interested in how the tendencies of understanding medical science from a complexity and ecologically based perspective can be mirrored in the exhibition space.
