Kirsten Jungersen – associated researcher My work at Medical Museion My aim is to go beyond the traditional accounts of medical history by studying the original texts in classical Greek and Latin. This enables me to eliminate some of the mistakes that have been handed down through the centuries. My ambition is also to keep up-to-date with current advances in the field of medical history. My background Born 1935, M.A. in classical philology 1961, associated researcher at Medical Museion of the University of Copenhagen 1999, publications on Hippocrates, uroscopy in the Middle Ages and Danish patient records from around 1800. |
