About the Installation
Fallowland is an art installation and sensory walk at Medical Museion, by artists Baum & Leahy with researcher Dr Tiff Mak (DTU BioSustain) and Medical Museion. In a world marked by overproduction and overconsumption, the need for rest is increasingly urgent. When both land and people are exhausted, it becomes necessary to lie fallow—to allow space, time, and peace for regeneration. Through art and science, this installation shows how pausing can be an active and powerful act.
We want to gather visitor perspectives on Fallowland, to inform our research and future installations.
If you are up for a short 15 minute interview after visiting Fallowland, we would be very grateful – please sign up here and we will contact you to fix a time. All participants receive free entrance to Medical Museion and a poster or postcard pack of their choice.
Participation in the interview is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. Interviews will be audio recorded and stored on University of Copenhagen secure servers according to standard practice and GDPR law. Interviews will be anonymised before use in research publications and dissemination.
