Art, science and history
Liquid Bodies is an exhibition displayed across Medical Museion and Politikens Forhal, bringing together art, science and history to explore how stem cell science is transforming our understanding of the body and what it might become.
Liquid Bodies is part of an international research project that asks how art can help people engage in new ways with stem cell science, and we want to find out how visitors experience the exhibitions. Practical info
Who can join? Anyone over 18 who is not a professional artist, curator, or stem cell scientist. You can come to visit the exhibition by yourself or in a group, but we only need to interview one person per group.
When do the interviews take place? June 11th-30th, potentially also in August
Where do the interviews take place? The exhibition takes place at two venues: Medical Museion at Bredgade 62, and Politikens Forhal at Rådhuspladsen 37. Each participant will only visit one – you can share your preference when you sign up.
How long does it take? You visit the exhibition first, then the interview takes ~45 mins, so allow total 1,5 hours.
What will I receive? A free exhibition poster and postcard featuring Architect II by Jens Settergren, and a free ticket for a future visit to Medical Museion.

The interviews are part of a research project based at the reNEW Center for Stem Cell Medicine, University of Copenhagen, which asks how art can help people engage in new ways with stem cell science. All data is stored according to GDPR regulations on University of Copenhagen secure servers. All interviews will be anonymised before being analysed and used in publications and further dissemination, further specificed in an informed consent form signed before the interview.
