Adam Bencard For about two years now, a group of us here at the Museion has been running a reading group on materiality. It has been on a hiatus for a while, but we are now getting back into the swing of it. Traditionally, we meet on Monday mornings every 2-3 weeks to get the philosophical juices going for the week, as we chew on everything from object-oriented ontology to affect studies and queer materialism. Our next meeting is on Monday the 14th of May, where we will be reading ‘Here Comes Everything – the Promise of Object-Oriented Ontology’ by ecophilosopher Timothy Morton.
