I februar 2013 blev Medicinsk Museions populære udstilling fra 2006 om psykiatriens historie lukket og taget ned. Udstillingen forsvinder imidlertid ikke. Med den eksplosion af energi 1500-tallet opviste, fulgte naturligvis mange voldsomme magtkampe.
Som f.eks. Pandolfo Collenuccios vrede over Leonicenos kritik af Plinius den ældre eller som Leonart Fuchs’ kamp mod blandt andre Janus Cornarius som han kaldte ”Cornarius furens” (den rasende C.).

Materialer af plast anvendes i stadig større omfang. Vi møder plast alle steder i vores hverdag og nye typer og former ser dagligt dagens lys. Plast kommer til at fylde mere og mere i museernes samlinger. Plast er ikke langtidsholdbart, mange typer er faktisk særdeles korttidsholdbare. Det stiller nye krav når museerne skal indsamle plastmaterialer til deres samlinger og prøve at bevare dem for fremtiden.
